The VisMederi Foundation has concluded the first international exchange initiative of the Trialect Global Medical Education Program, established in collaboration with Trialect Inc. (USA). This project marks a significant step forward in the Foundation’s efforts to internationalize scientific training.
The program was launched with a clear vision: to strengthen the training of biomedical scientists and physicians through hands-on experiences in research centers, fostering international scientific cooperation and improving clinical and laboratory practices worldwide. The inaugural project, titled “Vaccine Assessment: Serological Testing for Viral Vaccine Assessment,” represented the first step in a broader initiative that includes scholarships, mentorship activities, and structured exchanges between institutions in different countries.
THE FIRST EXCHANGE
The first exchange took place within the VisMederi Group with the participation of Ana Gabriela Montiel, a researcher who actively took part in scientific and laboratory activities. In her closing remarks, Montiel described the experience as “one of the most enriching” of her professional career, thanking the VisMederi team for the opportunity, the support received, and the sharing of knowledge. She emphasized how the experience was fundamental to strengthening her skills and broadening her perspective in the scientific field, taking with her “valuable lessons and the motivation to continue growing professionally,” with a commitment to contributing to her country’s scientific development.
For the VisMederi Foundation, initiatives like this represent a strategic element: training is not merely the transfer of knowledge, but also the building of relationships, cultural exchange, and shared growth.
The goal is to increasingly open the doors of Italian research to young international talents, contributing to the development of a global, interconnected, and collaborative scientific community.
