People around the world need vaccines and life-saving medicines, but those in developing countries need them even more. Realizing this goal is not easy.

The Foundation actively contributes as a co-sponsor of the Institute of Global Health (IFGH), a project of the University of Siena, which offers specialized courses in selected areas of global health, including the Master’s Degree (Executive) in Vaccinology and Drug Development.

The best and most passionate graduates from developing countries are selected and trained, providing them with the scientific and practical knowledge needed to lead the next generation of public health professionals as they return home. Our goal is to attract candidates from countries most in need of sustainable immunization programs and timely access to quality, affordable vaccines and drugs.

Graduates of the program return home with a better understanding of their country’s epidemiology and public health needs, as well as a broad knowledge of vaccinology and immunization. Trained both theoretically and practically by the most renowned experts in the field, they bring with them confidence and hope where it is most
