Over the past two years, the VisMederi Foundation has strengthened its cultural commitment, complementing its scientific and social activities with a series of publishing initiatives and literary events, offering the Sienese community opportunities to reflect on themes of history, politics, and contemporary society.
The first event in this series saw the Foundation host the presentation of Stefania Craxi’s book “All’ombra della storia “. The volume offers a personal and intimate reinterpretation of the figure of Bettino Craxi, weaving together family memories and public events into a testimony about a complex political era in Italian history.
During the event, Stefania Craxi shared reflections and anecdotes related to her own experience, while Prof. Patrizio Rigatti enriched the discussion by focusing on the statesman’s human and cultural profile.
For the VisMederi Foundation, the event marked the launch of a series dedicated to culture and public discourse, in which science is paired with historical and social reflection.
