The Spazio Gestalt Association, with the support of the VisMederi Foundation, is organizing a series of educational and informative workshops on adolescence, scheduled to take place in 2026. The initiative aims to illustrate and explore the stages of neurophysiological development during adolescence, encouraging adult participants – parents, teachers, healthcare professionals, and caregivers – to reflect on and adopt new attitudes and relational styles that take into account the underlying neuro-psychobiological processes.
Adolescence is both a bodily and psychological phenomenon, involving profound transformations of the self. Hormonal and brain changes significantly influence behavior, emotional regulation, and the quality of relationships, both among peers and between adolescents and adults. Understanding these changes helps adults connect with young people, empathize with the challenges and potential of adolescence, recall their own adolescent experiences, and co-create relationships that support growth and well-being.
The workshops will last approximately three hours each and will be held monthly on Saturday mornings from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Siena area, promoting community engagement and relational and psychosocial well-being. Neuroscience is used as a tool to support family, educational, and therapeutic relationships, providing reparative, regenerative, and enriching experiences.
Thanks to the support of the VisMederi Foundation, this project is carried out as an initiative of education, prevention, and health promotion, reinforcing the Foundation’s commitment to activities that foster growth, awareness, and the well-being of the community.
